Upper Rogue River

Trout Trips:

$600 per/day 1 or 2 anglers
$500 per/half day 1 or 2 anglers

Steelhead:

June-December
$600 per/day for 1 or 2 anglers
$500 per/half day 1 or 2 anglers

Over the last decade, the upper Rogue has been proving herself with good numbers of local trout who are eager to pounce on big Golden Stone and Salmon Flies. The water runs cold, crisp, and clear over boulders, braids, volcanic ledges, and pockets. With little pressure as a trout fishery, the Rogue is sure to please anglers of all skill levels and abilities. While many rivers in Southern Oregon are great trout fisheries, few of them allow you the ability to make precise casts freely out of a boat towards active fish. It’s almost like fishing hoppers in Montana without the crowds! Be sure to pay close attention, one of those eager trout just may be an aggressive bright steelhead competing for the opportunity at a big meal…

Location:

Upper Rogue River near Central Point and Shady Cove, Oregon.

Fishing Program:

This is a guided fishing experience for 1-6 anglers on the Rogue River for 1 guided day. 1-3 boats and 1-3 guides are provided for 1 or more full days fishing for trout or steelhead. Casting dry flies and/or swinging flies wading and casting out of the boat. Nymphing techniques are an option if desired. This package includes lunch and transportation to and from the river.
